We’ve gathered a selection of hotel options near the venue, of varying style.

Eat, Drink and See
Here are some spots at which to dine, visit, see and stroll during your trip:
Eat
Better than the new contenders (e.g. Black Seed, Apollo) for appetizing greatness. Bagels, smoked fish, shmears. Go to the shop and get a bagel sandwich to go or instead try the sit down cafe around the corner.
Our graduate school days’ favorite spot for a negroni, some oysters and steak frites.
Now a classic that once was a pioneer in Tribeca. Annie’s favorite martini and burger combo.
Solomon & Sophie agree, it has the best croissants–plain, almond, chocolate, whatever your fancy. The West Village location is new. Stop by for a quick breakfast and coffee on your way to start exploring.
Ben used to go with his dad and sister for properly thin and crispy charcoal fired pies. Still cranking after all these years.
Get the Jersey Joe for a take on the Northern New Jersey Sloppy Joe, which isn’t ground meat in tomato sauce on a hamburger bun, but rather the platonic ideal of a deli sandwich.
Drink
Swanky, beautiful and near to Chelsea Square.
Moved from the East Village. Softer around the edges but an amazing cocktail remains the focus.
The offshoot of the original (Milk + Honey) nouveau speak easy that started the cocktail craze of the mid aughts. Down the steps lies a cocktail temple.
One of the last dive bars still kicking in the West Village.
See
The Whitney is the only museum entirely dedicated to American artists. Take the elevator to the top floor and work your way down via the stairs so you can take in the wonderful views of the Hudson River. It also has lovely terraces to look at lower Manhattan. Book your visit here →
Driven by a desire to preserve a significant piece of Manhattan’s history, Little Island was commissioned in 2013 to restore Pier 54. Since its opening in 2021, this “floating” park has provided an escape from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan–just off its shores. Read more about the island here →
Thanks to community efforts, the High Line was saved from demolition and turned into a public park along the west side of Manhattan in the early 2000’s. Explore The High Line on foot or by bike. Learn about The High Line here →
Bleecker Street
For those looking to experience New York’s famous shopping scene, Bleeker Street is a great alternative to the busier downtown spots. Shop New York brands and well-known designers, and stop in the cute bakeries and restaurants that line the streets as well
